Elections committees across the Kingdom continued Wednesday announcing preliminary results of the country’s 19th parliamentary elections.
In the Mafraq governorate, Nawaf Khawaldeh, Abdulkarim Dughmi, Ismail Mashaqbeh and Yazan Shdeifat grabbed the northeastern constituency’s 4 seats while Rima Omoush was elected to the governorate’s women quota seat after she won the votes of 5,729 of the electorate.
In the northern badia, Thyab Masa’eed, Habis Shabib, and Ghazi Muqaibel won the three seats allocated for the constituency. Hadya al-Sarhan secured the woman quota seat after she collected 4,708 votes.
In Ajloun, Bilal Momani, Khaldoun Shweiyat, Firas Qudah, Farid Thalji (Christian seat) secured their election to the 19 parliament while Safa Momani stanched the women quota seat allocated for the northwestern governorate.
Following is a breakdown of constituencies and winners announced so far:
- Amman (First Constituency): Andre Hawari, Suleiman Abu Yahya, Abdulrahman Al-Awaisheh, Musa Hantash, and Khalil Attia.
- Amman (Third Constituency): Omar Naber (Christian seat), Khaldoun Hiena (Circassian seat), Khaled Bustanji, Ahmed Safadi, Hussein Harasis, Saleh Armouti.
- Amman (Fourth Constituency): Muhammad Maharmeh, Mughir Hamlan, Khair Abu Sailaik, Abdullah Abu Zaid.
- Zarqa (Second Constituency): Ahmed Khalayleh, Ali Khalayleh, Omar Ziyoud, Suleiman Al-Qallab.
- Madaba: Abd al-Rahim Ma''ayah, Nassar Hisa, Salih Wekhyan, Majd Yaqoub, Asmaa Rawahneh (Women quota seat).
- Central Badia Constituency: Bassam Al-Fayez, Mohammed Al-Fayez, Abdul Salam Khudair, Abeer Jabour (Women quota seat).
- Southern Badia Constituency: Eid Muhammad Naimat, Saleh Sari Abu Tayeh, Tawfiq Abdullah Al-Maraih, Zainab Salama Al-Mousa (Women quota seat).
