13 programs at Al al-Bayt accredited

Ammon News - AMMON - the council of the Higher Education Accreditation Commission approved special accreditation of 12 academic programs at Al al-Bayt University at the first-degree university level.

The programs include English language and literature, French language and literature, history, chemistry, physics, earth and environmental sciences, foundations of religion, architectural engineering, business management, law, Arabic language and literature, in addition to a Masters program in information technology and communications in education.

The university is preparing a strategic plan to implement the standards of special accreditation in all its programs, according to Nabil Shawaqfa, president of the university.

Al al-Bayt University earned general accreditation in early 2009 and is the process of completing accreditation for the remaining programs.
