Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The government's economic team on Tuesday discussed key challenges facing economic sectors and the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on these sectors.
In the meeting, headed by Prime Minister Omar Razzaz, the economic team was briefed by Chairman of the Jordan Investment Commission (JIC), Khaled Wazani, on the JIC's plans and programs to attract more investments that would drive the economy and provide job opportunities for Jordanians.
Wazani pointed out that there is a matrix of projects and investment opportunities that will be promoted internally and externally.
The economic team underlined the importance of establshing the necessary mechanisms to deal with challenges and difficulties facing some investments and finding solutions to ensure their continuation and completion.
In this regard, Wazani indicated that the JIC had created a specialized directorate to follow up on investment affairs and work to solve any issues facing investors.
