Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively hot weather is expected to prevail on Sunday in the hilly areas and plains, while it will remain sizzling in other parts of the Kingdom, with clouds at various altitudes, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
The hot spell that hit the country over the past days is expected to subside on Monday as thermometers will be pushed down, bringing normal summer weather in the mountains and relatively hot conditions in other regions, with the appearance of clouds at different altitudes and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.
A further in mercury levels is forecast on Tuesday, bringing moderate weather in the mountains and plains, with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD predicted.
Temperatures in the capital Amman are forecast to see a high of 36 degrees Celsius, and a low of 24 degrees, while highs in the port city of Aqaba will jump to 40 degrees, sliding to 29 degrees at night.
