Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Director of Irbid Health Affairs, Dr. Riad Sheiab, said the northern governorate's epidemiological committee has recommended on Thursday to lift the hotel quarantine on 138 Jaber Border Crossing's workers at the city's designated hotels.

Speaking to "Petra" reporter, Sheiab said the hotel quarantine was lifted after the workers' lab results have all returned negative.

As a precautionary measure, Sheiab announced workers will now spend a weeklong home quarantine, adding wrist e-bracelets have been installed to track their compliance with quarantine rules.

Any worker who violates the home quarantine instructions will face "strict" measures, he pointed out.
