Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A school principal and the owners of a tour company have been sentenced to three years in jail in relation to the Dead Sea tragedy.
Twenty-two people were killed, many of whom were children, after being swept away in flash floods in October 2018. A further 43 were injured.
The school trip, involving 37 pupils and teaching staff to the Ma'in hot springs area, went ahead despite offical weather warnings.
The court ruled the owner of the Victoria College Schools and employees of the Ministry of Education were not responsible.
