Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply / Head of Work, Production and Supply Chains Committee, Tariq Hammouri, decided to extend the working hours for all economic activities until midnight, effective as of Wednesday.

The minister also extended citizen mobility to 1 a.m., which alters the curfew time an hour after midnight.
In a press statement, the minister said the decision, effective as of Wednesday, came in accordance with 2nd Defense Order No. (6) issued in 2020, and is based on a recommendation made by Work, Production and Supply Chains Committee.

The decision, according to Hammouri, was taken after assessing the feedback on the multi-stage Covid-19 matrix, which tackles the pandemic, presented by a number of economic activities.

Any government decision or procedure will be reviewed in a way that serves the public interest, and after it has gone through all the stages and studied by all the competent authorities, the minister pointed out.
