Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures are expected to slightly increase on Tuesday, marking 3-4 degrees above their seasonal average and bringing relatively hot weather in the mountains and plains, while hot conditions will prevail in other parts of the Kingdom, with northwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
On Wednesday, a further rise in mercury levels is forecast, but relatively hot conditions will persist in the highlands and plains, while sizzling weather will hit the Dead Sea, the Jordan Valley and the port city of Aqaba, with medium-altitude clouds and northwesterly moderate to active winds, the Department added.
Thursday is expected to bring in similar weather conditions, despite a slight in temperatures, the JMD predicted.
Mercury levels in the capital Amman today will hover around 34 degrees Celsius during the daytime to 23 degrees at night. Meanwhile, highs in Aqaba will hit a sweltering 42 degrees, sliding to 28 at night.
