Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs, Sami Dawoud, said future of government administration relies on the extent of enhancing skills, competencies and capabilities of public employees.
The minister added:" Bulk of expertise and competencies of employee leaders reflects positively on the remaining workers at various career levels".

Speaking during a video dialogue session on government innovation, held within the strategic partnership projects to Jordan-UAE government work, he said the government is "fully aware" of the volume of Jordan's top employees' competencies and their keenness to promote their calibre.

During the virtual gathering, organized by the Institute of Public Administration (IPA) on Wednesday, the minister highlighted the "close" cooperation between the governments of Jordan and the UAE, which formed a "new starting point" to frame the existing joint cooperation in the field of government modernization, and other areas aimed at strengthening institutional capacities, improving governance, and mutual benefit In the field of developing government work, and building institutional skills and capabilities.

The launch of the 4th event dedicated to the the higher- category jobs, entitled: "Innovation in government work", comes to confirm the importance of innovation that would contribute to improving the quality of government work outcomes, developing personal thinking skills, and enhancing group interaction, he said.

The government administration in Jordan and the UAE is an example to be followed in the region and in many countries of the world, Dawoud said, adding:" We seek in partnership and cooperation together to strengthen and develop this reality to remain within its distinguished framework."


In line with this reality, he said the responsibility of government leaders, represented by high-ranking employees, requires all to make every effort to benefit from this "ideal" case of joint cooperation and coordination, and the training and discussion programs offered, which will necessarily be reflected on the level of expertise and competencies of the two countries' national institutions and on the level of services provided to citizens.
