Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The State Security Court (SSC) has heard almost all defense testimonies of defendants and companies allegedly involved the so called "Tobacco" case, the court announced.
During a public session held on Wednesday to try this case, was headed by the civil judge, Dr. Nasser Salamat, the SSC adjourned a verdict on the defenses and objections raised by the defendants, awaiting representative of the Public Prosecution's responses.
Moreover, the court decided to adjourn to July 15 the trial of the fake-brand cigarettes case, at the request of defense lawyers of the remaining suspects.
The SSC began the trial of the suspects in the Tobacco case, which drew wide public attention, on March 12.
