Arab ministers meet Tuesday on Palestinian issue

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Arab foreign ministers hold a meeting on Tuesday, which was called for by Jordan, to discuss latest developments related to the Palestinian issue.

The meeting via video conference will bring together the ministers of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco and Palestine, who are members of the Arab Ministerial Delegation emanating from the Arab Peace Initiative, along with the ministers of Tunisia, Arab member of the UN Security Council, Oman, the current chairman of the Arab League Council, and Kuwait, a former Security Council member, as well as Arab League Secretary General Aboul Gheit.

The meeting will tackle efforts being exerted to support the Palestinians and overcome challenges facing the peace process and relaunching serious and effective Palestinian-Israeli talks to bring about a comprehensive peace on the basis of a two-state solution, the international law and the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative.
