Gov't extends agricultural workers' fee reduction to end of July

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The recruitment fees of agricultural workers will remain at the reduced rate of JD320 through the end of July, according to a decision the cabinet took on Wednesday.

Upon a recommendation by the minister of labor, the Cabinet also kept delay fines for renewal or change of workplace in agriculture by 50 percent to JD100 from JD200 earlier until the end of this month.

The same applies to those working in bakeries, the Cabinet said, adding that the move is intended to help these sectors withstand the ramifications of the coronavirus pandemic.
