A source at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army, said in a statement today that the border guard applied the rules of engagement, which led to the retreat of the smugglers deep inside Syrian territory. It vowed that the armed forces will deal with full force with such attempts to undermine the Kingdom's security.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Troops of the Eastern Military Zone, in coordination with security agencies, Monday foiled an infiltration attempt by three persons to smuggle quantities of drugs from Syria into the Kingdom.

A source at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army, said in a statement today that the border guard applied the rules of engagement, which led to the retreat of the smugglers deep inside Syrian territory.

It vowed that the armed forces will deal with full force with such attempts to undermine the Kingdom's security.
