Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures are expected to dip few degrees on Sunday, so relatively hot weather conditions will prevail in the highlands and the plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the Kingdom, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
A further in mercury levels is forecast over the next two days, but sweltering weather will persist in many areas of the country, except in the mountainous and the plains where it will be fair, with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach a high of 33 degrees Celsius and a low of 21, while it will hit 28 degrees in the northern cities, dipping to 18. Highs in the port city of Aqaba will reach 39 degrees, while lows will stand at 26 at night.
