Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Moderate weather conditions are expected to prevail on Monday in the highlands and the plains, as mercury levels marking few degrees below their seasonal average, while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Temperatures will slightly rise on Tuesday, but similar moderate conditions will persist in the mountains, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, the JMD added.
A further increase in mercury levels is forecast on Wednesday, bringing relatively hot conditions in the hilly areas, and blistering weather in other regions, the Department further said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach a high of 28 degrees Celsius the capital, Amman, and 24 degrees in the northern cities, dipping to 17 and 10 degrees respectively at night. Highs in the port city of Aqaba will rise to 36 degrees, while lows will stand at 25 at night.
