Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced the launch of an electronic service to renew and issue permanent Jordanian passports in its embassies located in Doha, Muscat, Manama and Kuwait.
In a press statement on Thursday, the ministry indicated that expats can visit this link:
https://eservices.cspd.gov.jo/index-rtl.html, an account, and then submit an application of the required service, noting that the head of the family can apply for all family members through the same application.
The status of the application can be tracked through a number, it said, adding that applicants will receive a text message or an email upon obtaining the necessary approvals. The applicant must then visit the embassy to pay the fees, revoke the old passport and receive the new passport.
The e-service will be launched for embassies in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates within the next week, the statement added, urging expats to contact the concerned embassies for more details.
