Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Seven new infections with COVID-19 disease were recorded in the Kingdom on Monday, bringing the caseload to 746 since the outbreak of the pandemic in the Kingdom in early March, the Ministry of Health announced.
The new cases include six for Jordanians who have recently come from abroad and placed under quarantine, including three from the UAE, 3 from Egypt and one from Turkey. Additionally, a staff member of a hotel, designated for guaranteeing those who come from abroad, was infected withe virus.
On a more positive note, 13 patients have recovered and left hospitals today. The ministry also indicated that 5,070 tests were conducted today, pushing the total to 193,060 since the beginning of the crisis.
The ministry urged the public to pursue high commitment to health safety and proper hygiene guidelines as more sectors continue to reopen across the country.
