Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Mercury levels are expected to slightly rise on Wednesday, marking few degrees beyond the seasonal average and bringing moderate spring-like weather conditions across most regions of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Hot conditions are forecast to prevail in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea during the daytime, the JMD added, predicting cooler weather at night.
Temperatures will dip again over the next two days, so pleasant conditions will prevail in most areas of the country, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be relatively hot, with westerly moderate to active winds, the JMD further said.
In Amman and other highlands, north and south, daytime mercury levels will range between 27 and 31 degrees. In the late afternoon and evening hours, cooler weather is forecast as temperatures slide to around 15 and even 13 in the southern highlands. In the port city of Aqaba daytime temperatures will stand at 37 degrees, while lows will slide to 26 at night.
