Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A rapid rise in temperatures to a high of 29 degrees Celsius is expected to bring back spring-like conditions across most of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief today.
Winds will be southeasterly light, while hot conditions will continue to prevail in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with mercury levels hovering around the end of the 30 degrees Celsius.
Cooler weather is expected at night as temperatures slide to a low of 20 degrees Celsius nationwide, with northwesterly light winds.
Similar weather conditions are expected to persist over the next two days, with high altitude clouds and westerly moderate to brisk winds.
Last week, the Kingdom was affected by a hot air mass, raising temperatures 5-7 degrees Celsius above their seasonal average for this time of year.
