12 new Covid-19 cases recorded in Jordan on Thursday, caseload rises to 684

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Minister of Health, Dr. Saad Jaber, announced 12 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in the Kingdom, on Thursday, bringing the caseload since the start of the pandemic to 684.
Speaking during a briefing at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM), Dr. Jaber said one case belongs to a truck driver at Al Omari Border Crossing of a Jordanian nationality, 7 infections for Jordanians coming from outside the Kingdom (5 arriving from the United Arab Emirates, and 2 from the United States of America).
On the other infections, he said a case belongs to a contact in Mafraq governorate, and a case of a contact with a truck driver in the capital, a "barber," and two cases in the northern Irbid governorate.
According to Jaber, 11 cases have recovered, 7 in Prince Hamza Hospital, 3 in Queen Alia Hospital and 1 in King Abdullah University Hospital, bringing the total number of cases receiving treatment to 158.
