6 new Covid-19 cases recorded in Jordan on Sunday

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of Health, Dr. Saad Jaber, announced 6 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in the Kingdom on Sunday, bringing the caseload since the beginning of the pandemic to 613.
Speaking during a press briefing at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM), the minister said two cases belong to truck drivers recorded at Al Omari Border Crossing, one a Jordanian, and another case for a contact with a food distributor from the northern Jerash governorate.
The other 3 cases were to truck drivers discovered after the third test was announced as their first testing results upon entering the Kingdom were negative, the minister pointed out.
The minister also announced 4 cases have recovered in Prince Hamzah Hospital, bringing the number of cases still under treatment to 131.
4,200 laboratory tests were carried out, bringing the cumulative total to 144, 356, the minister noted.
To date, the students who returned from abroad have reached about 4 thousand, who are given priority, and therefore the results of some random samples tests may be delayed, he pointed out.
