Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Cabinet on Sunday endorsed a set of guidelines streamlining the prospective resumption of work in the public sector after Eid al-Fitr holiday later this month, State Minister for Media Affairs Amjad Adaileh announced.
The manual is intended to prepare public sector servants to return to work either at their workplaces or remotely, Adaileh told a daily press briefing, adding that the guidelines will be available on the government's official media platforms as well as in main stream media.
The minister, who is also the government's spokesman, indicated that the government is still assessing how the Eid holiday will be handled and what measures will be in place, saying: "We will continue to monitor the epidemiological situation during the coming days, and will take the appropriate decision accordingly".
Furthermore, the Cabinet discussed in its today's session efforts underway to expedite the setting up of a fixed quarantine facility on the Omary Border crossing with Saudi Arabia where inbound truckers will observe the set quarantine period before entering the Kingdom.
Also, the minister noted, the Cabinet discussed measures taken to streamline back-to-back loading and unloading on the borders.
