Jaber : 18 new coronavirus cases recorded in the Kingdom

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of Health, Dr. Saad Jaber, announced 18 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in the Kingdom, raising the caseload nationwide to 540.

Speaking at a press briefing at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM), the minister said the new cases recorded today belong to 6 drivers of non-Jordanian nationalities at the Omari Border Crossing, were dealt with according to the protocol in force, and 12 cases for contacts of an infected person in Khanasri area in northern Mafraq governorate.

Dr. Jaber also announced two patients have recovered at Prince Hamzah Hospital, bringing the total number of hospitalized cases to 93 patients.

On testing campaign nationwide, he said 4500 Covid-19 tests were conducted today, bringing the total cumulative laboratory samples tested to 115, 526.
