Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Investigations are underway with young men in the general quarantine area, who violated the instructions of social distancing and preventive measures required to deal with the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), Minister of State for Media Affairs, Amjad Adaileh announced on Wednesday evening.

Commenting via a tweet on a video published on social media outlets on Wednesday that showed young men violating social distancing instructions in the general quarantine, Adaileh said strict procedures against violators will be taken, in addition to activating other preventive and strict measures to ensure that such unfortunate actions do not recur.

Adaileh called on student placed under quarantine at the Dead Sea area to live up to the responsibility and sacrifice of many Jordanians on order to preserve their safety and health.

He added: "What we saw is shocking, and doesn't reflect an appreciation for the efforts of the cadres who stayed up and away from their families for the sake of your comfort. We want a Jordanian model in awareness and responsibility."
