Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - No COVID-19 cases were reported in the northern governorate of Irbid on Sunday, according to Dr. Muhammad Ghazo, the director of the King Abdullah I University Hospital, the main health facility in the northern region where cases are treated and quarantined.
Speaking to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), Ghazo said only 7 cases are still receiving treatment and will be discharged soon, describing their conditions as "good and stable".
Meanwhile, random and targeted testing continues across the governorate, local health officials said, adding that the samples collected and tested over the past two days came back negative.
Until Saturday evening, Jordan's COVID-19 caseload stood at 460, with only 79 active cases after 372 recovered and left hospitals. The death tally remains at 9.
