Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - No new COVID-19 infections were reported in Jordan on Tuesday, Minister of Health Saad Jabir announced, adding that one patient died from the virus at the Queen Alia Hospital in the capital Amman.
Accordingly, the Kingdom's caseload remains at 449, including 89 active cases after 6 patients were discharged today, the minister indicated.
Speaking from the National Center for Security and Crisis Management, Jabir noted that a total of 3,000 random PCR tests were carried out today, compared with 300 at the onset of the pandemic.
Furthermore, the minister said that the Kingdom boosted its medical supplies production capacity as 1.3 million face masks were made today, while no production of the face coverings was available at the start of the crisis.
