Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Two new COVID-19 cases were reported in Jordan on Monday, bringing the total to 449 since the outbreak of the pandemic in the Kingdom in early March, Minister of Health Saad Jabir announced.
Speaking at a daily press briefing, Jabir said the cases include a truck driver diagnosed on the borders . The second case is for a 5-year old girl who contracted the disease from her infected parents.
Additionally, 5 patients have recovered and left hospitals today, pushing the active caseload to 95, the minister noted. He indicated that a total of 2,430 tests were conducted today, in addition to 2,000 conducted in the southern region over the past two days.
