Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures are expected to rise few degrees on Monday and Tuesday, bringing spring-like and fair weather conditions in most parts of the Kingdom, except for the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea where it will be warm, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Clouds at medium and high altitudes are also forecast, making a chance for light showers, while winds will be westerly to southwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the Badia areas, the Department added.
Mercury levels will slightly dip on Wednesday, but similar weather conditions will continue to prevail with clouds at various altitudes and a possibility for intermittent rain in the southern region. Winds will be northwesterly brisk, stirring dust in the Badia, the JMD noted.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 22 degrees Celsius, 17 in the northern governorates and 18 in the southern cities, dropping down to 13, 9 and 8 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 31 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 21 degrees at night.
