Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Three new COVID-19 cases were reported in Jordan on Sunday, bringing the total to 447 since the outbreak of the pandemic in the Kingdom in early March, Minister of Health Saad Jabir announced.
Speaking at a daily press briefing, Jabir said the cases include a truck driver diagnosed on the borders and another truck driver who has recently come from abroad and retested positive for the virus. The third case is for a 5-year old girl who contracted the disease from her infected parents.
Additionally, 5 patients have recovered and left hospitals today, pushing the active caseload to 99, the minister noted. He indicated that a total of 2,430 tests were conducted today, in addition to 2,000 conducted in the southern region over the past two days.
