Pleasant weather forecast for three days

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Pleasant weather conditions are expected to prevail on Sunday in most parts of the Kingdom, except for the hilly areas where it will be relatively cold, with northwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Low-altitude clouds are also expected, making a chance for light showers in the morning, mainly in the northern and central regions, the Department added, expecting fog formation in the late night hours over the mountainous areas.

Temperatures will rise few degrees on Monday, bringing fair conditions in most regions, while it will be relatively warm in the Jordan valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with clouds at various altitudes. In the afternoon, the weather will be dusty with a possibility for intermittent rain in the southern cities, the JMD reported.

A further rise in mercury levels is forecast on Tuesday, so it will be warm in the Jordan valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, and moderate in other regions with clouds at medium and high altitudes and a chance for light showers. Winds will be northwesterly moderate, the JMD noted.

Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 19 degrees Celsius, 13 in the northern and 14 in the southern cities, dropping down to 15, 10 and 9 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 29 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 23 degrees at night.
