Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) on Sunday announced banks will open branches in the Kingdom as of Monday, from 10 am until 2pm to provide basic services, primarily foreign trade transactions, cash deposit and trader checks, as well as salary withdrawal for non-ATM holders.
The Governor said the banks will provide these services with a minimum number of staff, to ensure the employee safety, adding e-banking, ATM services will also be available.
Also as of Monday, the Governor announced currency exchange companies will provide two-way remittances from 10am until 2pm, and will be allowed to provide home delivery services.
