Flurries of snow are expected to fall over mountains exceeding 1000 meters high, as the white stuff may accumulate over the southern high peaks (Sharah region), with northwesterly winds, the JMD added. Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Kingdom is forecast to remain under the influence of the polar air mass on Saturday, and the weather will continue to be very cold, cloudy, and rainy at periods in most regions of the Kingdom, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily report.

Flurries of snow are expected to fall over mountains exceeding 1000 meters high, as the white stuff may accumulate over the southern high peaks (Sharah region), with northwesterly winds, the JMD added.

During the evening hours, the polar depression will stave off and the chance for downpours will be lesser, the report announced.
