KAUH: 2 suspected cases of COVID-19 tests to confirm

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Deputy Director of King Abdullah University Hospital (KAUH), Basil Obaidat, said the hospital is awaiting for test results for two suspected cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), which will be announced in few hours.

"Nine cases, under suspicion of being infected with the COVID-19, have been admitted to the hospital since yesterday," Obaidat told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) on Monday.

He explained that test results were positive for two cases and they were referred to the Prince Hamzah Hospital this morning, while laboratory tests showed that five cases had tested negative.

Obaidat said two floors in the hospital were prepared to deal with any suspected cases.
