Federation's spokesman, Faisal Al-Abdullah, told Petra on Monday that Jordan is awaiting the Asian response in order to start preparing for hosting this major international event. The qualifying events were scheduled to be hosted by Wuhan, China, but have been cancelled due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus outbreak.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordan has recently submitted an official request for the Asian Taekwondo Union (ATU) to host the Taekwondo games within the Asian Qualification Tournament for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Jordan Taekwondo Federation said.

Federation's spokesman, Faisal Al-Abdullah, told Petra on Monday that Jordan is awaiting the Asian response in order to start preparing for hosting this major international event.

The qualifying events were scheduled to be hosted by Wuhan, China, but have been cancelled due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus outbreak.
