Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) forecast cold weather on Tuesday and Wednesday in many parts of the country, predicting warmer conditions in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with low-altitude clouds and southwesterly light winds.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 15 degrees Celsius in Amman and 13 in the northern cities, dropping down to 5 degrees. Mercury levels in the port city of Aqaba will stand at 23 degrees Celsius, sliding to 9 degrees at night, the JMD said in its daily brief.
On Thursday, similar cold conditions will continue to prevail with clouds at various altitudes and a chance of light showers in the northern region, while winds will be southwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the Badia areas, the JMD added.
