Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 15 degrees Celsius in Amman and 13 in the northern cities, dropping down to 5 degrees. Mercury levels in the port city of Aqaba will stand at 23 degrees Celsius, sliding to 9 degrees at night, the JMD said in its daily brief. On Thursday, similar cold conditions will continue to prevail with clouds at various altitudes and a chance of light showers in the northern region, while winds will be southwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the Badia areas, the JMD added.
