Home Jordan News Cold weather continues until Wednesday 30-12-2019 06:25 AM Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Cold weather conditions are expected to prevail in many parts of the Kingdom, while it will be pleasant in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with low-altitude clouds and southwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in daily update. At nighttime, chilly weather is forecast with low clouds and a chance of light showers in the northern region, the department added. Mercury levels will few degrees on Tuesday as similar cold conditions will remain until Wednesday with low clouds and southwesterly to northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD noted. Daytime temperatures expected for today will hover around 12 degrees Celsius in Amman and the northern cities, dropping down to 5 degrees at night. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 23 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 11 degrees at night.
