Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Sunday, but it will remain cold in many parts of the Kingdom and pleasant in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with low-altitude clouds in the northern and central regions, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
The JMD expected chilly evening nationwide with low clouds and a possibility of frost formation after midnight over the highlands and parts of the eastern Badia.
Similar weather conditions will continue to prevail on Monday with partly cloudy skies and a chance of light showers at night in the northern and central areas. Winds will be southwesterly to westerly moderate to brisk, the JMD noted.
Mercury levels will few degrees on Tuesday, bringing cloudy and cold conditions with northwesterly light winds, the department added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will hover around 13 degrees Celsius in Amman and the northern cities, dropping down to 5 and 6 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 24 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 10 degrees at night.
