Home Jordan News Sunny, cold weather forecast for three days 22-12-2019 05:06 AM Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Sunny but cold weather is forecast on Sunday and Monday across many parts of the country, while it will be gentle in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) . The JMD warned of a possible frost formation in the highlands, especially the southern region (Al-Sharah mountain range) and parts of the Badia region in the late night hours. A in mercury levels is expected on Tuesday, bringing cold, dusty and cloudy conditions with a chance for scatted showers at night in the northern areas. Winds will be southwesterly brisk with strong gusts at times, the JMD noted. Daytime temperatures expected for today will hover around 18 degrees Celsius in Amman and the northern region, dropping down at night to 5 and 7. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 25 degrees and lows standing at 11.
