Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively cold weather is expected to prevail on Sunday across many parts of the Kingdom, while it will be pleasant in the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley with clouds at various altitudes, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
In the afternoon, the country will be affected by unstable weather conditions, bringing cloudy skies with rain that might turn heavy at night and accompanied by thunder in the southern and eastern regions. Winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust at times, the JMD added.
Relatively cold conditions will continue in many areas over the next two days with accumulative clouds at various altitudes and a chance for scattered showers in parts of the eastern region, while winds will be northeasterly to northwesterly moderate, the department noted.
Daytime temperatures for today in Amman and the northern cities will hover around 15 degrees Celsius, dropping down at night to 7. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 25 degrees and lows standing at 12.
