Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Wednesday, but relatively cold weather remains across many parts of the country, while it will be moderate in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with low-altitude clouds and southeasterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
The Kingdom on Thursday will be affected by a new cold and wet air mass accompanied by a depression, pushing temperatures down and bringing cold and cloudy conditions with rainfall at times in the central and northern regions. Winds southwesterly moderate to brisk winds with strong gusts.
Mercury levels will few degrees on Friday, bringing chilly and cloudy weather with rain showers in the northern and central areas, while winds will be southwesterly moderate to brisk, the JMD noted.
Daytime temperatures for today in Amman and the northern cities will hover around 17 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 9 at night. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 28 degrees and lows standing at 16.
