Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected today, to a high of 23 degrees Celsius and a low of 13 degrees Celsius in Amman, with autumn-like conditions to persist in most areas of the Kingdom, with the exception of the Jordan Valley and Aqaba where the weather is expected to be fair, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) forecast.
Similar weather conditions will continue on Thursday, with clouds at low altitudes and southeasterly winds, turning into northwesterly moderate in the afternoon.
On Friday, cloudy to partly-cloudy weather is forecast with a chance for scattered showers in the northern regions and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds.
Daytime temperatures expected in the northern cities for today will reach 23 degrees Celsius, and 21 in the southern governorates, dropping down at night to 15 and 12 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 31 degrees and lows standing ta 20 at night, the JMD said.
