Thunderstorms are likely to occur in the northeastern regions of the Kingdom, while winds will be southwesterly moderate turning into northwesterly moderate at night, picking up at times and stirring dust in the desert, the JMD added. On Tuesday and Wednesday, normal autumn weather conditions will continue nationwide as temperatures slightly decrease, with clouds at different altitudes and a chance for rainfall. Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 24 degrees Celsius in Amman, 25 in the northern cities and 22 in the southern governorates, dropping down to 13, 12 and 7 respectively at nights. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 31 degrees and lows sliding to 18, the JMD added.
