Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Cold and cloudy to partly cloudy weather is forecast today, with rainfall that may be heavy in the eastern region, accompanied by thunder, lightning and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said on its daily brief.
On Monday, autumn-like conditions are expected to prevail in the hilly areas and plains, while pleasant weather will be in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, with clouds at low altitudes and scattered showers in the northern and eastern regions.
Further in temperatures is expected Tuesday, but similar weather conditions will prevail with northwesterly moderate winds.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 25 degrees Celsius in Amman, 24 in the northern cities and 22 in the southern governorates, dropping down to 15 at nights. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 33 degrees and lows sliding to 22, the JMD added.
