Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) predicted sporadic rain showers across the Kingdom, as cloud cover will alternate between partly cloudy to cloudy skies throughout Saturday.
The rainfall is expected to be heavier at times for today, accompanied by lightening and thunder and occasional hail storms. This might cause floods in the valleys and lowlands, it added.
Maximum and minimum temperatures in Amman and the northern region will hover between 25 - 14 degrees Celsius, 22 - 12 degrees in the southern highlands, while in Aqaba highs will shoot up to 32 and lows will to 20 degrees.
According to the JMD, Sunday is expected to bring in similar weather conditions, while temperatures on Monday are predicted to only a few degrees below their annual average.
