Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight in temperatures is expected on Thursday with clouds on various altitudes and a chance for rainfall in various parts of the Kingdom, mainly in the northern and eastern regions, accompanied by thunder and lightning at times.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), similar cloudy and rainy weather will continue to prevail on Friday with southwesterly moderate to brisk winds.
Mercury levels will again on Saturday, so it will be cloudy with rain that may turn heavy, especially in the southern and central parts of the country, accompanied by thunder, lightning and hail, causing floods in valleys and low-lying areas. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the Badia regions, the department said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 24 degrees Celsius in Amman and 26 in the northern governorates, dropping down at night to 14. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 35 degrees and lows sliding to 23, the JMD added.
