Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Pleasant and moderate weather conditions are expected to prevail today morning in the hilly areas and plains, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with clouds at different altitudes, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
In the afternoon, unstable weather conditions are expected to prevail, bringing scattered showers across the Kingdom that may be accompanied by thunder, especially in the eastern region, with northwesterly moderate winds.
The weather department added the country will stay affected by unstable conditions for the next two days, as skies will be mostly cloudy with rainfall that may form floods in the valleys and the lowlands, with northeasterly to northwesterly moderate to brisk winds.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 25 degrees Celsius in all regions, dropping down at night to 15 in Amman, 19 in the northern cities and 13 in the southern cities. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 35 degrees and lows sliding to 22, the JMD added.
