Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures on Sunday are expected to be around their annual average, bringing moderate autumn-like conditions in the hilly areas and the plains while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern areas will hover around 30 degrees Celsius and 27 in the southern governorates, dropping down to 16 at night in all regions. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 37 degrees Celsius and lows sliding to 24, the JMD added.
Similar weather conditions will continue to prevail nationwide over the next 48 hours, with northwesterly moderate winds.
