Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Tuesday, but moderate weather conditions will prevail until Wednesday in the hilly areas and plains, while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Clouds at low altitudes are also expected, while winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk at times, the JMD added.
Mercury levels will few degrees on Thursday, but similar weather conditions will remain with northwesterly moderate winds, the department noted.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 31 degrees Celsius in the capital, 30 in the northern cities and 26 in the southern governorates, dropping down at night to 19, 18 and 17 degrees respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 40 degrees and lows sliding to 26, the JMD said.
