Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively hot weather conditions are expected to prevail on Monday in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the Kingdom with northwesterly moderate winds, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 34 degrees Celsius in the capital, 33 in the northern cities and 32 in the southern governorates, dropping down at night to 21, 20 and 19 degrees respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 40 degrees and lows sliding to 27, the JMD said.
Mercury levels will few degrees on Tuesday, bringing normal summer conditions in the mountainous areas and the plains, while it will remain hot in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds at times, the JMD added.
On Wednesday, a further in temperatures is forecast, creating moderate summer weather in most areas of the country, and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with low clouds and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the department noted.
