Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Normal summer weather is expected Wednesday in the hilly areas and plains , while it will be hot in other parts of the country, with clouds at low altitudes and northwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Daytime temperatures forecast for today will reach 32 degrees Celsius in the capital, 30 degrees in the northern cities and 29 in the southern cities, dropping down to 19, and 17 degrees respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 41 degrees and lows standing at 27, the JMD stated.
Temperatures are expected to slightly rise on Thursday, bringing relatively hot weather in the hilly areas and plains and hot conditions in the rest of the regions.
On Friday, the country will be affected by a hot and dry heat wave, bringing hot and dry conditions in most regions, while it will be extremely hot in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, with northeasterly to northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
